Queen’s University and the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and its Local 901 (Unit 1) have reached a tentative agreement to end the strike and renew the collective agreement for approximately 2,000 graduate students who are employed part-time as Graduate Teaching Assistants, Teaching Fellows, Graduate Research Assistants, and JD/MD-enrolled students employed part-time as Teaching Assistants at Queen’s. The agreement is tentative in that it is subject to successful ratification by both parties.
Queen’s values the contributions of its employees and respects the collective bargaining process. Details of the agreement will remain confidential pending ratification by the parties.
