TEDxQueensUSalon: Wired
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
TEDx Salon events are unique, intimate gatherings for watching TED talks, listening to local speakers, and engaging in discussions on issues of interest to the local community. This year, TEDxQueensUSalon has partnered with us to highlight graduate student research and interests starting with our first event of the year on Wearable 91ÊÓƵ.
TEDxQueensUSalon: WIRED and SGS will welcome Atul Jaiswal, Debra Mackinnon, and Steven Richardson to each discuss novel applications and insights of wearable technology. Talks will be followed by the presentation of case-example scenarios related to wearable technology, during which time attendees are invited to discuss the advantages, considerations, and potential alternative applications.
Light refreshments will be provided. Doors open for networking at 4:45pm followed by formal programming beginning at 5:00pm.
