Patti Lenard is the author ofTrust, Democracy and Multicultural Challenges (Penn State, 2012). Her current research focuses on the moral questions raised by migration across borders in an era of terrorism, as well as on multiculturalism, trust and social cohesion, and democratic theory more generally.

Sarah Pavan鈥檚 research interests include immigrants鈥� political integration, immigrants鈥� personal networks and ethnic organizations, multiculturalism and immigrant integration policies. Her current work draws on an original data set she built from face-to-face interviews with immigrants from India and El Salvador in the Greater Toronto Area and in the Silicon Valley.
