The Queen’s Alumni Toronto Branch invites new and returning volunteers to join us for our Volunteer Welcome Night! This event is a chance to connect with your fellow volunteers, meet our new Toronto Branch Co-Presidents, and celebrate the collective energy and enthusiasm that makes our alumni community thrive.

Held in the vibrant and welcoming space at Taco Taco, located in the heart of Kensington Market, close to all of Toronto’s top attractions, this evening is designed to help you feel informed, appreciated, and excited for the year ahead. Enjoy light food and drinks as you’ll learn more about what to expect as a volunteer, how to get involved in upcoming initiatives, and how your role supports Queen’s efforts to grow and strengthen its alumni network in Toronto and the GTA.

We look forward to kicking off a fantastic year with you—come for the tacos, stay for the Tricolour spirit!

What to Expect:

Meet the Team: Get to know fellow volunteers and alumni leaders helping to shape the Toronto Branch

Welcome Remarks: Hear from the new Co-Presidents about their vision and goals for the year

Community Building: Participate in fun and informal activities to build connections

Food & Drink: Light appetizers and a drink ticket will be provided

Tricolour Spirit: Show off your Queen’s pride—wear your tricolour!

This private event is only open to alumni who have previously volunteered or have expressed interest in volunteering with the Toronto Branch.

Accessibility: The venue features an accessible back entrance and washroom.

Parking Information: Limited street parking is available, and at the Green P Carpark 68 lot located at , approximately a 7-minute walk from the venue.
